To apply for funding, your organisation must be:
Funding Parameters
- Minimum grant: $5,000
- Maximum grant: $25,000
- All funding amounts are GST exclusive.
Please ensure your funding request aligns with the selected category range. Applications outside the specified funding range will not be considered.
Applications Will Not Be Considered If:
- Submitted late or incomplete.
- Requesting retrospective funding (i.e. for expenses already incurred).
- The applicant received funding in 2023 but has not uploaded a receipt to the Smarty Grants database or made alternative arrangements with the Trustee.
- Submitted by:
- Individuals
- Sports organisations or service clubs (including those with membership fees or a focus on social activities).
- Requesting funding for overseas projects.
- Financial statements do not comply with the Charities Services Reporting Standards (Reporting Standards). You must attach the same completed financial statements used in your most recent Charities Services filing.
