Infrastructure Education and Training Charitable Trust
2025 Grant Round – March
IMPORTANT: Please read the information below to assist you in completing your application online. Applicants should carefully consider the criteria, which may be varied from time to time.
The Trust was established by a Deed dated 26 November 2021, by the Infrastructure Industry Training Organisation Incorporated (known as Connexis). Public Trust is the Trustee of the Trust.
The Trust purpose is to distribute income and capital to develop, promote and facilitate education and training within the infrastructure industry so as to increase the general and specific competencies which contribute to the effectiveness of employees within the industry.
Two grant rounds are to be held each year, one in February and one in July. Grants are for projects, and not for funding of day-to-day expenditure, although this does not exclude operational costs involved in a project.
Public Trust will screen all applications against trust funding criteria. All applications that meet trust criteria will be provided to the Advisory Panel.

How are decisions made? The Trustee provides a summary of all the applications to the Advisory Panel and the Advisory Panel decides which applications to approve. The Panel’s decision is final. A grant may be approved subject to certain conditions, in such circumstances the funds will normally be held by the Trustee until the conditions have been met.
