2024 Expression of Interest Grant Round
(Stage 1)
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Please read the information below to assist you in completing your Expression of Interest Application online.
Applicants should carefully consider the following criteria which may be varied from time to time.
Who is eligible? Expression of Interest Applications are open to organisations (registered with Charities Services) operating within the Foundation’s Funding Region - the Greater Auckland Region (from the northern limit of the Bombay Hills to the southern limit of the township of Warkworth).
What does the Foundation Fund? The Foundation provides funding for specific projects or initiatives which: (one or more categories)
Priority will be given to applications that can demonstrate partnership and collaboration that can match/fund the contribution expected from the ProCare Charitable Foundation.
What amount of funding is available? The minimum amount for a request for funding is $25,000 up to a maximum of $200,000.
Successful applicants must spend the grant in full within 12 months of receiving it and will need to provide 6-monthy and 12-monthly Accountability Reports.
How are decisions made? The ProCare Charitable Foundation Board and the Trustee consider all grant Expression of Interest Applications after the closure date. It is important that all details on the Expression of Interest application form are concise and easy to read. Decisions relating to whether an organisation proceeds to Stage 2 of the grant round are made on the information provided in the Expression of Interest Application and other general enquiries.
The ProCare Charitable Foundation Board and the Trustee may approve a grant subject to certain conditions. In such circumstances, the funds will normally be held by the Trustee until the conditions have been met. In this respect the decision is final, and no further discussion will be entertained.
Expression of Interest Applications that are not completed in full will not be accepted. Applications outside of the funding range or those within the eligibility criteria will not be assessed.

Important dates
Expression of Interest Applications are to be completed and submitted via Public Trust online Granting portal ‘Smarty Grants.’
Late applications will not be accepted.
